Syd TV's summer piece. Timed to perfection pre Glastonbury Festival 2008. This street graffiti stencil was executed in Glastonbury town days before the festival. It got a lot of coverage in the press... hitting the Western Daily, The Mirror, The Guardian, Metro, ITV News and finally BBC Breakfast on the Friday morning before the festival. It takes the piss out of Jay Z's controversial headline booking by the festival promoter Michael Eavis. The artist is not against change but Mr Eavis deserved some rib tickling after a string of comments he made that have aliented Glastonbury stalwarts. I bet Coldplay headline next year... proof that Jay Z was a expensive flop.
The canvas itself is a nice 50 x 50cm square and is made using the same set of stencils and spray paints used for the Glastonbury town piece. It will be limited to no more than 25 completely original canvases. Probably less as the stencils ware out. Delivery within 5 workings days max.
Heres a short video post festival...
