Canvas Art - Sizes & Ranges
Buying modern canvas art can be a complex time consuming affair at the best of times... colours, sizes, subject being just some of the many things you need to consider. The Art By People team have tried to seriously simplyfy the canvas creation process as best we can.
All our images are designed to fit the space that we print to. Thats why we have set sizes for all our contemporary prints. Our expert modern art pickers consider the subject, depth of detail, colours and that then dictates the sie we print at for maximum viewing pleasure. We try to avoid producing wall artwork that is either too small or too big for the subject matter.
If your buying art for a friend or family member then there are a few logical thing to keep in mind. If your buying for a shy and retirng type then consider an abstract artwork or a landscape in subtle colours in maybe jyst a few tones. Party animals might however prefer a canvasartwork thats much bolder and brasher with vivid loud colours - think pop art or retro geometric design.
As well as the person, consider the location for the print. If your buying for a lounge thats impactful and modern then pick an artwork thats contemporary to match that urban living space. Pick a size that will fit the space available, go extra large if you have a large contemporary wall space to fill.
Dont be afraid to mix and match your canvas art - we encourage this. A lot of our designs have been choosen with our entire canvases range in mind. Our retro iconic prints have a largely uniform size of 50 x 50 cm with a 4cm deep chuncky frame. You can hang as many of these giclee prints in a row knowing that size wont be an issue. We have lots of colourful canvas customers who come back to buy wall canvases from us time and again - always in the same square & uniform size.
